Have you been to a real Jungle yet ? Jim Corbett National Park is the first and oldest National Park in India and a reserved forest area. It is perhaps the most wild , dense and varied jungles of India. This wild landscape was once the playground and home of Jim Corbett , the legendary hunter turned conservationist and naturalist. Enjoy the open jeep safari in Corbett National Park, to feel the wild forest and breathe in gallons of pure air.

Jim Corbett National park comprises of a variety of Jungles that include marsh lands, grasslands, deciduous forests, hilly areas, river basins and lake as well. Nearly than three -fourth of the area is forest and 10 % is grasslands.
Since 1936, hunting has been prohibited in this area, when it was announced as first national park of India , then called the Hailey National Park and later renamed as Corbett National Park in 1955 in the honour of Jim Corbett.
A result of years of conservation is that this more 1300 Sq Km of area houses a variety of flair and fauna, that includes

Corbett National Park has a core area of 520 Sq Km and a buffer zone of nearly 798 Sq KM.

Essential Information
The safari takes you deep in the jungle and you would be subjected to natural elements. To make your trip comfortable, depending on the season do carry some warm clothing like a jacket / wind cheaters as it can get cold and windy inside the jungle during early mornings or towards the evening.
Do carry raincoats or umbrella if the weather is over cast.
A good pair of sunglasses, sunscreen lotions and mosquito spray could be of help
Carry hats or cap to make your self comfortable
Binoculars and camera are essential accessories. Some vendors provide binoculars at a rent outside the park gate
Finally, please wear camouflage clothing or dull coloured clothes to ensure you blend in into the forest . This will help you spot more wildlife.
Please maintain silence and talk in low voice, as this increases your chance of spotting the wildlife.
Hotel Pickup Instructions
Please note that the pick-up from your hotel is included in the price, but is valid only for hotels that are in the vicinity of the Jim Corbett National Park.
Incase your hotel is located off the circuit, we may have to charge additionally on a case to case basis
Itinerary
Morning Pick Up ( 5:15 AM - 6:15 AM): Corbett Tiger Reserve entry gate morning entry timings vary as per seasons. So depending on the current season time, we will pick you up from your hotel in the vicinity of the Corbett National Park, or you meet us at the requisite gate
Safari Timing: The Safari duration will be between 3 to 3.5 hours. Enjoy the Safari in the company of an trained and expert jungle terrain driver and a knowledgeble and well experienced naturalist guide, who will help you appreciate and enjoy the jungle
Drop back : to the hotel or at the gate as the safari ends
