Day 01: Land in Delhi and drive to Nainital
- Drive from Delhi Airport / your pick-up location to Nainital (296 kms, Approx. 07 Hours)
- Check-in to hotel. evening at leisure or visit Mall road.
- Try the famous 'Sonam Momos' at Tibetan Market
- Visit Naina Devi Temple
Day 02 - Tiffin Top, Raj Bhawan, Naini Lake, Sunset Point
- Today we explore Nainital and the best way to explore any hill station is by walking on foot.
- After an early breakfast and head up the DSB college road Sherwood College and then Tiffin Top. Tiffin Top is a bit strenuous but a rewarding trek, from where you get the most stunning views of entire Nainital town, Himalayas and the lake. Perhaps the best selfie point.
- As you climb down from Tiffin Top, you can walk up to Raj Bhawan and marvel at one of the best colonial architecture you would have seen in India.
- Head down to the town and relax in one of the lakeside cafes and later indulge in a round of boating on Naini Lake.
- In the evening, drive up to Hanuman Gadi temple, to get a glimpse of mesmerising sunset.
Day 03 - Goodbye Nainital, Hello Mukteshwar
- Checkout after breakfast, there is a lot to see and explore while enroute Mukteshwar (50 Kms , about 2 hrs drive )
- Take a small break at Bhowali on the way, which is a local fruit mandi and you can sample from fresh local fruits from nearby orchards of Ramgarh.
- You could take the route through Kainchi Dham and visit the famous ashram and temple of Neem Karoli Maharaj, the famous spiritual guru. This ashram has been visited by Steve Jobs of Apple , Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and Larry Page of Google, besides many other celebrities.
- Pass through the orchards at Ramgarh and arrive at your destination at Mukteshwar.
- Relax in your resort, hear the birds sing and watch the Himalayas change colour to the setting of the sun.
Day 04 - Goodbye Nainital, Hello Mukteshwar
- If you are an early riser, you can get one of the best views of Himalayas by the rising sun in Mukteshwar.
- Either do nothing and relax, or take trips to nearby places of attraction like the Bhalugad waterfalls, the IVRI reserved forest area, or the 1000 years old Kapileshwar Mahadev temple by the riverside in the valley below
Day 05 - Check out & Drive to Delhi
- You will move through scenic mountain trails as you descend down the hills on your onward journey to Delhi.
- Travstore Tip -Take a break at i-Heart Cafe at Bhimtal and enjoy some good coffee and bakery stuff and stop by the Bhajjan's Dhaba at Gajraula for a hearty north Indian lunch
