Essential Information

Important Notes - 

• There is No Porterage Facility at the Airport / Hotel, hence it is advisable to carry a light weight bag having trolley.
• All travellers have to carry their own passports, tickets, forex & any other imp. documents. It is recommended to leave passport photocopy at your residence, office & carry one while travelling
• Passengers having excess baggage of more than 15 Kgs check in baggage are liable to pay excess baggage charge directly to the airport & airline authorities. Hand luggage of 07 Kgs per person is allowed.
• We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdra any particular departure, excursion advertised. For convenience of our passengers, itinerary may be amended
• No refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeings etc. not utilized on the tour
• The temperature averages about 5 degrees. Jackets / sweaters will be recommended. Heavy warm clothing, muffler is required
• All hotel bills should be cleared & rooms should be checked-out before 30 mins of the group scheduled time of departure. Incidentals like drinks, snacks, in-room dining, TV channels, any room damages, bathroom water overflow etc. while your stay at respective hotels, will have to be borne by the clients
• All items of personal nature, food & drinks any other item not mentioned in the itinerary / menu are to be paid by individual

Day 01: Fly from Mumbai to Reykjavik

• Board flight for Reykjavik
• Arrive at Keflavík International Airport

Day 02: Reykjavik City Tour

• Post breakfast, proceed for Reykjavik City Tour
• Visit platform at Perlan
• Visit Höfði House
• Visit Hallgrímskirkja Church, the harbor and the old town center
• Visit Sun Voyager
• Dinner
• Overnight stay at hotel

Day 03: Drive from Reykjavik to Akureyri

• Post breakfast, check-out & proceed to Akureyri (380 kms)
• Check-in to hotel
• Short orientation tour of the town and free time for shopping.
• Late afternoon, visit the Dalvik Shore
• Enjoy coastal drive at Atlantic Ocean

Day 04: Akureyri – Diamond Circle CIRCLE - Myvatn

• Post breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Lake Mývatn
• Enroute, stop at Goðafoss waterfall - the waterfall of the pagan gods

• A walk at the Dimmuborgir lava formations
• A look at the Skutustadir pseudocraters
• Visit the Amazing Boiling Mud Pools and steam vents of Námaskard and then the Krafla area

Day 05: Drive from Akureyri – Hraunfossar Fall- Into The Glacier– Ice Cave – Husafell

• Post breakfsat, checkk-out & proceed for Barnafoss & Hraunfossar Waterfall
• Drive in Monster Super Jeep to the Langjokull Glacier
• Visit a man-made cave inside the Glacier to see what the world beneath the Glacier is like
• One hour walking tour inside the Glacier
• Return back to hotel Reykholt (HusaFell)

Day 06: Drive from Husafell – Vik

• Post breakfast, check-out & proceed to Seljalandsfoss
• Half an hour walking trail to go behind the water fall
• Proceed towards 2nd waterfall, Skogafoss, one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 metres (82 feet) and a drop of 60 m (200 ft)
• Proceed by Super Jeep Ride to Plane wrecked location
• Later reach Black Sand Beach, a black pebble beach and features an amazing cliff of regular basalt columns
• Proceed to hotel

• Overnight stay at hotel

Day 07: Skaftafell National Park – Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon

• Post breakfast, drive across the Mýrdalssandur plains and the vast Eldhraun lava field to Kirkjubaejarklaustur
• Drive across the black sand plain Skeiðarársandur
• Arrive at Skaftafell National Park
• Reach the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón
• Take a 40 min. Amphibian Boat Tour (subject to weather permitting) and walk around the lagoon
• Proceed to Diamond Beach
• Return to hotel

Day 08: Drive from Vik - The Golden Circle - Reykjavik

• Post breakfast, check-out & proceed to Geysir & Gullfoss
• Stop at the hot spring area of Geysir
• View the hot spring Strokkur ejects its water column high into the air every 5 to 10 minutes
• Proceed to Gullfoss
• Proceed to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. See the effects of the tectonic plate movements which have opened various cracks and fissures in the earth’s crust

Day 09: Drive from Reykjavik - Whale Watching - Blue Lagoon - Keflavik

• INR 85,000 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking
• Passport copy, Aadhaar card copy, Pan card copy
• Balance payment to be paid 45 days prior to departure (whether visa has been granted or under process)
• Tour cost is based on EU RO + I NR however payments are to be made inIndian Rupees only.
• EURO portion payment will be calculated on the day of payment as per HDFC Bank OW TT Rate.

Cancellation - 

• 60 Days Prior to Departure 25% of the Tour Cost.
• 45 Days Prior to Departure 55% of the Tour Cost.
• 30 Days Prior to Departure 75% of the Tour Cost.
• 15 Days Prior to Departure 100% of the Tour Cost.

Visa Requirement - 

• Original passport (must be valid for 6 months from dep. date)
• 6 months bank statement (with Bank stamp & signature)
• 03 photos in the size of 35x45mm with white background & 80% face resolution, matt finish.
