The heart of Bangkok is the setting for a tour that lets you see iconic attractions in the day light. You're shown a magnificent city view from atop the Wat Arun temple. Once you meet your guide, step aboard a ferry for a voyage right into the iconic city center. Check out the houses, temples, and high rises that line the Chao Phraya River, and then step ashore to visit the legendary temple of Dawn. Next, visit the home of Bangkok's authentic traditional local market, one of the liveliest neighborhoods in the city. Try out the vibrant street food on offer among the market stalls, restaurants, and historical landmarks at your own expense. Later we visit the iconic Wat Traimit temple and understand why this temple is so scared. This temple enshrines the world's largest solid gold Buddha image which weighs nearly 5 tons.

Essential Information
- You must wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees for visiting sacred or holy places.
- Children 2 and younger (less than 100 cm) are complimentary when accompanied by a paying adult.
Hotel Pickup Instructions
- Pick-up Van will wait for maximum 15 minutes. Pick-up once missed will not be arranged again.
- An additional surcharge of THB 200 per person will be charged for hotel pick ups outside city areas, payable directly to the driver on the day of the tour.
Itinerary
- 12:00 - Pick-up from main hotel areas (Sukhumvit, Prathunam, Silom, etc) or meet the tour guide and follow rest of the group at Saphan Taksin Pier.
- 13:00 - Enjoy a boat ride on the Chao Phraya River and visit Wat Arun, the legndary temple of Dawn. It is one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only beacuse of its riverside location, but also because the design is different from other temples in Bangkok.
- 14:00 - Next stop at an authentic traditional local market by the riverside. Stroll around to discover a variety of local products as groceries, fruits, spices, herbs, sun dried seafood etc. Check the shops for some lovely souveniers and referesh yourself with a traditional Thai beverage or snack at your own expense.
- 15:00 - Visit Wat Traimit, the temple of Golden Buddha which enshrines the world's largest solid gold Buddha image. The idol is made up of about 83% pure gold and weighing in at five and a half tons, the 15-foot tall seated image is worth millions of dollars at today's gold prices.
- 16:00 - Drop off back to your hotel or at MBK mall to enjoy your shopping.
